Donald Echefu

Donald Echefu is a Computer Science Major at Howard University with a minor in Mathematics. Originally from Nigeria, he has worked as a research assistant in the HU CEA department since 2022 and tutors in the Math department. His experience includes research on a voice-based cognitive health tool using GPT-3.5 and two internships at Apple on the Post-Silicon Validation team. He also served as Vice President of Howard’s ACM chapter, supporting students through tutoring and workshops. Donald is interested in machine learning, efficient systems, and accessible tech. Outside of work, he enjoys video games, movies, music, animation, and photography.
