Research Lab Partners with Chevron on Howard University VIP Initiative

Howard University’s research lab is proud to announce a new partnership with Chevron under the Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) program. 

Leading this initiative is Dr Aryal alongside lab members - Valentine Ezikioha, Timothy Ford, Jaden Samuels, and Abdulmujeeb Lawal - who all aim to create a networked co-management system that integrates real-time production control with dynamic workforce management. A programmable logic controller (PLC) will manage field operations such as pumps and valves, while a dedicated software platform oversees workforce scheduling.

This project is part of Howard University’s ongoing commitment to delivering hands-on, real-world project experiences for students, ensuring they gain the skills needed to excel in today’s rapidly evolving industries.
